AIM Training Grant success

Association of Independent Museums Training Grant funds Museum Trustee Induction

“AIM Training Grants are available to support member museums to develop the skills and expertise of their workforce.”

The Museum of Bath Stone is delighted to have been awarded a training grant from the Association of Independent Museums.

The grant supported the charity’s newest trustee, Julianne to attend and participate in the two-part training course “Museum Trustee Induction”; hosted by AIM and delivered by Hilary Barnard and Ruth Lesirge in a course specifically designed to support trustees in independent museums.

The corresponding case study submitted by Julianne Mackrell, Trustee of the Museum of Bath Stone can be read on the AIM website: https://aim-museums.co.uk/case-studies/training-grant-aim-museum-trustee-induction/

We would like to offer our greatest thanks to AIM for approving our grant application and providing these vital resources for independent museums and, we thank Julianne for her time attending this course to assist her to continue making excellent contributions to the Museum of Bath Stone.
